I am a pet portrait artist, who is a retired cancer nurse. As a proud owner of two German Shorthaired Pointers, Anna and Greta, I realized painting my pets and those of friends and family was a true passion. Catching that certain special look is my goal. Pastel is a colorful vibrant medium to really "show off" your pets in. They range from hard to buttery soft. Pastels are not "just chalk" but made with the same colorful and exotic pigments used by oil painters. It would be a thrill to view and use your favorite pet photograph and create a lasting memory of them. |
